What is a team?
Is it just a group
Of certain individuals.
Who come together
At certain rituals.
Whether it’s a game
Or even a practice.
Its never an I
It’s always an us.
Together on the bus.
Together on the court.
Involving everyone
Never making anyone feel short.
Respecting one another.
Like your sister or brother.
Encourage never discourage
Never saying harsh words.
Mistakes will happen
Don’t criticize with boos.
Close when you win
But closer when you lose.
So a team must be
Something more
Like a family.
